Our Biggest Struggle

Updated: Jun 3

In today's world, it is essential to prioritise our mental health and well-being.

Poor mental health is one of the biggest public health challenges that we face today,

and many people struggle to manage their mental health and wellbeing effectively.

While we often focus on maintaining our physical health by eating well and exercising regularly, it's just as important to care for our healthy mind.

We allow ourselves to go and see a GP when we are physically ill, or see a Dentist to keep our teeth healthy. We break a bone and we go to the hospital.

But when we have negative feelings of not being in control, sadness, overwhelm, depression or feeling anxious, we try to ignore these feelings for as long as we can.

When we can’t express ourselves and feel heard, the body will store all these negative feelings.

But when the body can’t cope with the stressors, it will express itself in other ways.

This is why so many people have stress related illnesses, like migraines, weight issues, skin problems, digestive issues, sleep problems and the list goes on.

Keeping your mental health strong, will support your physical strength.

It's the gateway to enjoying your life and handling the challenges that come your way.

But what does it even mean to be mentally healthy?

Good mental health can manifest in different ways for different people, but there are some common signs too look out for.

Positive Relationships: Having healthy relationships with others is an indicator of good mental health. You feel connected to others and can communicate effectively with them.

Stress Management: Everyone experiences stress, but if you can manage it in a healthy way, such as through exercise, meditation, or relaxation techniques, it's a sign of good mental health.

Sense of Purpose: Having a sense of purpose or meaning in life can be a good indicator of mental health. This can come from work, hobbies, or relationships.

Emotional Expression: Being able to express emotions in a healthy way, such as through talking with others or journaling, is a sign of good mental health.

Positive Self-Esteem: Good self-esteem means having a positive self-image and feeling confident in yourself and your abilities.

Resilience: Being able to bounce back from adversity is a sign of good mental health.

How can Hypnotherapy help increase

Mental Health and Wellbeing?

During a hypnotherapy program we focus on overall mind health.

We have tools and techniques to help with low mood, anxiety and overwhelm, enhancing self-esteem and promoting resilience and much more.

Often in life negative past experiences are influencing the decisions we make and feelings about ourselves or others, day in and day out.

Using safe hypnotherapy techniques, we can release the energy of those past events to leave you free to focus on today and how you really want to feel.

As a hypnotherapist, I am dedicated to helping individuals overcome their challenges and achieve their goals through personalised hypnotherapy sessions.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog.

I hope it inspires you to take positive steps towards managing your stress and prioritising your mental health.
